Emma (she/her) is a trilingual intimacy coordinator (Finnish & English & French) based in Helsinki, Finland.
She has a rich background in performance and a deep commitment to creating safer, more nuanced storytelling environments. Drawing on extensive experience across film, television, and theatre, Emma works with directors, actors, and creative teams to choreograph intimate scenes with clarity, consent, and emotional authenticity.

With formal training in Lecoq and Chekhov techniques, Emma brings a strong understanding of physical storytelling and character embodiment to every project. Her practice is grounded in attentive communication, active listening, and a collaborative spirit, making her a trusted presence on set and in the rehearsal room.

She takes a story-forward approach to intimacy, ensuring that each moment of physical or emotional vulnerability serves the narrative and supports character development. By working closely with directors and creative teams, she helps bring the artistic vision to life with sensitivity, detail, assertiveness and respect for the performers’ boundaries.

Emma also brings lived and professional experience within LGBTQIA+ communities and non-monogamous relationship structures, offering a perspective that is both inclusive and informed. She supports stories that reflect diverse identities and dynamics with care and authenticity.

Whether working in front of the camera or behind the scenes, Emma fosters spaces where actors can feel safe, seen, and empowered in their performances.
